Think Spring, Think E-Waste

*We’ve put together the best waste industry news from March!*

Spring is just around the corner here in the Northern Hemisphere, and we couldn’t be more ready! As Mother Nature works to renew herself again, so, too, may we renew our commitment to the planet.

Among the crises we tackle on a daily basis, here is a staggering fact: Did you know that the world is now producing up to some 55 million tons of electronic and electrical waste every year? This solid waste, commonly known as e-waste, weighs more than all of the commercial airliners ever made — and yet only 20 percent of it is formally recycled, according to a United Nations report.

While long-term solutions to e-waste will require some serious collaboration across industry and government sectors, developing responsible programs — and implementing effective, digital communications about those solutions — is one way you can make a difference right now.

So, how do you get started? First, download our new guide. There, you’ll find a host of information about configuring your digital communications to help you meet your goals, from drafting to executing. You may even learn more about a handful of our digital tools that can help your efforts, too.
